Today: reading the momentum strip

Concept1 min
In one sentenceThe strip at the top of Today splits the value of your open deals into Moving, Due to move, Overdue and Held - click a segment to see only those deals.

What the strip shows

The left side counts your open deals. The bar is the value of those deals split four ways - Moving, Due to move, Overdue and Held - each segment sized by its share of open value, with the dollar figure in the legend. Closed won sits at the end of the legend and is not part of the bar.

The right side, Unaccounted for, is the value of every Overdue deal - money nobody has explained. Under it the strip either says "every deal is accounted for" or counts how many deals need a play. Won and lost deals never appear on Today, so the strip is only ever about deals still in play.

Filtering, and your steps

Click a segment, or its name in the legend, and the bands below shrink to that one. The line above them reads "Filtered - click again to clear"; a second click brings back the full queue, ranked overdue first, then due, held, moving.

Above the bands, Your steps lists your open next steps across every deal - ones you own, and ones you are on. Late steps read "was due" with the date. Tick one and it leaves the list; the same tick shows on the deal.
